Hoss Mountain Stringband

The Hoss Mountain Stringband is a dynamic bluegrass ensemble based in Victoria, British Columbia. Formed through connections within the local bluegrass community, the band has become a staple in the region’s music scene. The ensemble is multi-generational and includes two members of the area’s famed long standing bluegrass band, the Clover Point Drifters. Their repertoire features a mix of classic standards, original compositions, and innovative arrangements that showcase their musicianship and passion for the genre. Their music is further influenced by their deep connections to old-time and swing.
