Patrick Murray

An irreversible troublemaker, Patrick has always sought to challenge and break sonic and stylistic guitar boundaries. He is an educator, performer, and finger-style artist from Victoria, B.C.

Combining the power of percussive rhythms, original melodies, and altered tunings, he summons originality and electic sounds with every performance.

He studied guitar performance at the university of Victoria under the tutelage of the late revered Doctor Alexander Dunn and has completed and toured Canada, the U.S. and Europe. As a gigging musician in Vancouver, he performed everywhere from concert halls to film sets. His debut album, Subaquatic Signals, is set to be released in the fall of 2026.

His current guitars are a Jedidiah Wiebe Fan Fret, Furch baritone, and a Dake traphagen steel string.
